Majestic

He owns the path and everything either side of it — and he knows it. Sofia places a full-grown Bengal tiger dead centre on a forest track, bamboo arching above him like a cathedral, prickly pear cacti at his feet, the whole dense jungle world rendered in obsessive ink linework pressing in from every side. Against that intricate, swaying green, the tiger moves with absolute unhurried authority — amber, black, level-gazed, entirely unbothered. Butterflies drift near his paws. The forest carries on around him. He is the still point at the centre of it all. Majestic was the only possible title.
